Triple the Fun

Every year during my visits to Jordan I get that special request by my friend Tamara to photograph her daughter Jenin, Oh Jenin ....  Let me tell you, her sessions always makes my heart sing.
This little girl is one of my first and favourite girlies to photograph.
This time was a little different though, this time around we had two of her closest friends join us. Tamara and I talked about locations and she expressed how she wanted images with an Ammani feel to it, I loved the idea and was on board in a heartbeat.
On the day of the shoot we picked the girls up, we had pizza at Books@Café and headed out to anything that shouted "AMMAN!"

First stop was The Soap House. What a lovely place ... The aroma of the soaps greet you as you walk towards the house. The place is nestled at the end of a narrow street right above Rainbowstreet. Its an old renovated house that has the most gorgeous entrance. I managed to get permission, so kind of them to allow us to be there.

After the Soap House we headed towards our next destination, but managed to stop for a few shots on the way where we found a rooftop by the street that had a view that was too gorgeous to pass by without stopping. That rooftop overlooked some of Ammans hills.

Another stop on the way , now this was an awesome find! I dont know about you, but every time I head downtown I need to take a few rounds around town until I finally find what im looking for. So while we were looking for the road leading the Amman Citadel, we saw these awesome stairs. Surely enough we stopped there, the girls just loved it! They got to run up and down the stairs in between shots :)

Finally we reach the Amman Citadel in perfect timing for some golden hour sweetness, right around sunset. Im absolutly in love with the mother-daughter shots I got there of Tamara and Jenin just snuggling.

What a day that was! Lively girls bursting with character and a whole lot of attitude ;)  They were such a joy to photograph, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
