Looking back at what has passed from this year, I can only say TAKK!

I am thankful.

At some point in 2014 I had decided I wanted to photograph weddings. I was ready to broaden my horizons, open up and tackle new challenges. All the steps were taken towards. just. that.
I had gathered every inch of courage, invested massively into it. Both emotionally and financially.
I was determined and committed come summer of 2015 I was ready! Oh boy ... Was I ready.

Since I had taken that decision, bookings started trickling in, slow and steady. Who knew that would go on until I was fully booked throughout the summer, reaching the point where I had to turn some couples down. At this point I am absolutely mind blown.
These people that are reaching out to me, want me to photograph their wedding. No really! Think about it for a second. I was chosen to photograph the day that they decide to promise each-other a lifetime together, a day of celebration that cannot be reenacted. It is that one day, it is special, it is sacred.

This is something that I needed some time to grasp.
I needed time to understand the responsibility and what it would take to be able to BE that person that brides and grooms expect of me to be. And deliver.

Yes, I am thankful.

True I was ready, and more ready than ever. There is no denying that this has been an invaluable learning experience. No matter how much you know or how ready you think you are, theres a ton of lessons out there waiting for you to unravel. You need to keep digging, keep discovering.

Driven as ever I have already started planning for 2016 weddings :)
I will be posting the 2016 price list in all its freshness very soon.
One of the newest additions to the Tamara Photography wedding experience for 2016 will be a gorgeous custom made usb box. These were supposed to be for 2016 brides and grooms.

But! I am thankful.

I think I have to say that I am most thankful to all my 2015 couples. This year has been beyond amazing because of you. I am deeply humbled.
So! every couple that had booked me for the larger packages for their big day will be getting a box along with their album!!! :D
This box is a mere token of gratitude to those who had trusted me with their big day.
