Looking back at 2015

Its taken me a while gathering my thoughts over what 2015 has done for me.

This has been a year of growth through planning, implementing and assessing. I’ve celebrated the good and now working on what could have gone better.

I am so very humbled by all the support I’ve gotten throughout this year, from encouraging words, reviews and the reactions of my brides and grooms to their images. You all have truly filled my heart with joy that constantly reminded me how much I am in love with what I do. To all the amazing couples that I got to meet, all the overwhelming emotions all the love that ive gotten to witness and document I am so sincerely thankful.

I started a blog this year! That proved to be allot of work, and allot of fun. Ive thoroughly enjoyed getting my thoughts out there and adding a little insight while sharing my work.

This really has been quite the year, there are allot of things that have yet not synced in. But if theres one thing I know for sure, i’ve never been so exhausted and so happy at the same time like this year.

I joined forces with some awesome photographers this year. Together we rented what I believe to be the most beautiful studio space in Iceland. Thank you Siggi, Stina, Gigja and Krom for welcoming me to the S11 Studio family and making me feel at home. I’m so glad to have found this inspiring place where I could be my most productive self.

Now that 2016 has found its way through, I can feel my stomach spinning. How can I top all this?!

For this year Ive made a list and I have whole bunch of ideas and plans. I cannot wait to see how many things will be crossed out from that list , crossing them all out is part of the plan ;)

As I’ve mentioned before, traveling will play it’s part this year. A good three months will be spent on traveling abroad meeting new people, experimenting and doing something totally new. Ill be in Jordan and hopefully travel to as many neighbouring countries as possible. Ill be active on Snapchat and Instagram if you´d like to follow me on my journey.
I then head back to Iceland just in time for summer wedding season, completely inspired and ready for my 2016 brides & grooms!

There have been countless favourite moments this year in all the wedding/pre wedding/engagement/elopement shoots that I've had the chance to photograph. I know Im leaving a whole bunch out, but here is a selection of my favourite images from 2015.

Love
T.
